LightWave 3D [7.5] FAQs
  General
    Why isn't LightWave able to load/use my plugin(s)?

In LightWave Modeler:
Go to Modeler>Plugins>Edit Plugins

  1. Click on Scan Directory.
  2. Choose the Plugins folder inside the LightWave folder on your hard drive.
  3. When it says it has loaded Plugins, click on OK.
  4. Click on Scan Directory.
  5. Choose the LScripts folder inside the LightWave folder on your hard drive.
  6. When it says it has loaded Plugins, click on OK.
  7. Click on Scan Directory.
  8. Choose the Legacy_Plugins folder inside the LightWave folder on your hard drive.
  9. When it says it has loaded Plugins, click on OK.
  10. Click on Done.
  11. Try the plugin(s) in question again.

In LightWave Layout:

  1. Go to Layout>Plugins>Edit Plugins.
  2. Click on Scan Directory.
  3. Choose the Plugins folder inside the LightWave folder on your hard drive.
  4. When it says it has loaded Plugins, click on OK.
  5. Click on Scan Directory.
  6. Choose the LScripts folder inside the LightWave folder on your hard drive.
  7. When it says it has loaded Plugins, click on OK.
  8. Click on Scan Directory.
  9. Choose the Legacy_Plugins folder inside the LightWave folder on your hard drive.
  10. When it says it has loaded Plugins, click on OK.
  11. Click on Done.
  12. Try the plugin(s) in question again.
