LiveControl™ LC-11 and TriCaster VM™, are switching surfaces that provide button touch control with T-bar to activate the functions of TriCaster.

A: Yes. TriCaster is sold internationally as a multi-standard PAL/NTSC device and in North America in NTSC.

A: TriCaster requires full resolution video therefore does not support the input of USB-based webcams.

A: Opening the TriCaster case voids the warranty. NewTek recommends that all TriCaster service be handled by NewTek.

A: NewTek recommends you first contact your local NewTek reseller to report any issues. The reseller may be able to assist you. You may also contact NewTek technical support by e-mailing tech@newtek.com or calling 210-341-8444.

A: Yes, there are two types of software upgrades for TriCaster. NewTek provides occasional free updates for TriCaster as Web downloads. To assure that you are running the latest version of the software, navigate to the TriCaster Admin Panel on your system and check for updates.

There are also paid TriCaster software upgrades that add additional features and benefits. In order to be notified when upgrades are available, make sure you register your TriCaster and sign up to receive email communication from NewTek.

A: Although the Operating System can be accessed from the Admin Mode, NewTek discourages installation of additional software on TriCaster as it may degrade the performance of the system.

A: Yes, there are several options. TriCaster internal drives provide 10 to 20 hours of storage. Recording to external USB or FireWire drives provides limitless additional storage and back up. .
